| Advertorial ‘In Review’ feature | Spotlight exclusive feature | Seasonal brand feature |
| Our team offers honest reviews of foraging lifestyle adjacent gear, events, food sellers, books, clothing and expertise. This can include physical equipment, such as scissors, baskets, gloves, boots, water bottles, caps or sturdy clothing – all with strong slow fashion and sustainable values that chime with our audience. However, it can also include guides, guided tours, cookbooks featuring foraged ingredients, and forager conventions. A member of our Briar team will test out the product or service offering to place a bespoke, authentic and first-person review. We do not offer readbacks or final editorial approval. To explore a paid advertorial brand feature for the ‘In Review’ section of our website, please email your inquiry to Rachel Keenan. | The exclusive feature article is a discourse, creating a deeper connection between the reader and your brand. For instance, your brand or company may have experimented with foraging for worker’s mental health and have a story to share with our audiences. We work with you to produce a feature that gives the reader an insight into your brand’s history, people, and expertise. This slot is not appropriate for product reviews, and is better suited to an experience or initiative. Depending on your geographical location, you may be featured in our Offshoots series or Why I Forage series. To explore a brand experience or initiative outside the UK, email Aysha Imtiaz. To explore a personality-centered feature, email Kate Balding. Our social media manager, Rupert Birkett-Eyles, will also be in touch to develop a comprehensive online strategy leveraging our social media platforms on Instagram and TikTok. | Four times a year, once in every seasonal print issue, we celebrate three brand success stories across a double-page spread. These brands should exhibit aligned values, and we report their story with a richly visual feature, accompanying video and social media assets. Your brand appears in the context of a very limited number of complimentary brands, not competitors. We reinforce and strengthen your brand recognition by putting it in the perfect context: young, aspiring and environmentally eager UK generational cohorts with the growing intention – and means – to affect positive climate action. These brand features are highly selective and we work closely with our partners to produce quality long-form journalism with seasonality at their heart. Drop an email to our editor-in-chief, Patrick Harrington by the deadlines to find out more. |
Deadlines for seasonal print editions are as follows:
| Deadline for inquiry | Publication date | |
| Summer | March 25 | June 21 |
| Autumn | January 5 | March 20 |
| Winter | June 25 | September 23 |
| Spring | September 5 | December 22 |

Step 3: Leave the rest to us
We’ll work with you to set the strategy for our collaborative partnership and stay connected throughout the creation process. You can expect access to information on circulation and marketing once the agreed-upon piece is published on our website and socials.
Editorial decisions, however, will ultimately rest exclusively with the Briar’s team.
