Hello! My name is Louise, I am 21 from Essex and I am Assistant Editor for Capsule. As an avid reader of books and magazines like Vogue, Cosmopolitan and Elle I enjoy writing about culture, fashion, film, tv and music, finding inspiration in the things I read, watch and listen to. My role within Capsule involved working with our other editors in overseeing the publishing of our articles.

Reuben Williams
In the Capsule team, I oversee the style, tone and copy of our published articles. I co-created, with our Web editor, a guide for all our writers to reference, covering how to write for Gen Z audiences and correcting simple punctuation mistakes. As a journalist, I like to focus on my specific interests and passions, letting them shine through my work with eloquent and descriptive language. I am based in South London. But in all honesty, I was immediately drawn to the prospect of writing about gaming for our magazine. Games have been a constant in my life, and I snatched the opportunity immediately. To get to discuss my hobby – it was a no-brainer.

Hi I’m Shen Ny, currently 20 years old and originally from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia! Growing up surrounded by art and music cultivated much of my interest in journalism, particularly in cultural narratives such as identity and youth culture. I’m drawn to stories that question narratives often taken at face value, and enjoy incorporating visual elements such as photographs and videos to engage audiences more in my storytelling. As Capsule’s Web Editor, I developed the site’s style guide and oversee the publishing of all articles. Through my work, I aim to make complex cultural perspectives more accessible, contributing to a deeper understanding within an increasingly diverse global community.

I’m a Film enthusiast, newbie photographer and aspiring journalist. I was born in Bristol, raised in Cardiff and growing up, I was always surrounded by creative and passionate people – all working to create an environment where ideas can come to life. Personally, I fell in love with visual storytelling from a young age, starting off with making short films on our family iPad and spending way too much time on Video Star. When I am not filming or writing you will find me knitting and finding new ‘Grandma hobbies’ to add to my collection.

Hello! I’m Paridhi Dalmia, a 21-year-old from India! I’m the designer at Capsule, and I loved putting the website together and shaping its visual identity to reflect the Y2K theme in a way that feels cohesive and engaging. I’m deeply interested in fashion, art, and culture, and I enjoy both reading and creating content around these genres. I’m always on the lookout for emerging trends and how they evolve while analysing them in relation to identity, representation, and the ways people express themselves through style and visual culture today. With a background in social media management, content creation, and digital marketing, I aim to create content that connects and resonates with contemporary culture!

I’m 19 years old, from East London, and I’ve always enjoyed writing. I’ve never fit into the academic mould, and journalism allows me to reconnect with my creative side. Being an image editor is a significant responsibility because a single shot can convey a variety of meanings. Photography-wise, I frequently dabble with my digital camera, and when I have the chance, I enjoy composing imaginative short stories. I am inspired by both Dazed and Vogue magazines. Writing allows me to bring stories to life, though I admit that I frequently struggle to do so. I’m incredibly excited to collaborate with other creatives. In the future, I wish to pursue a career that combines writing and other forms of creation
