Editor’s Letter

Dear readers,

Having shifted cities multiple times in my life, I have understood that the meaning of ‘home’ is never static. All I understand is that a house is simply a building until people live there. Casa was born out of a simple question – What makes a home, home?

In our inaugural issue, we spoke to people across the globe to find out what home means to them. From the revival of house parties, top trends in home decor, to finding friends who become family, we have explored multiple facets of the idea of a home.

This issue features an interview with TikTok star Nicholas Fearn, and an Indian artisan practicing the tribal Warli painting style. Our writers also shared their favourite cookware from across the globe.

As we step into the first chapter of Casa, I hope you will find new meanings in your own homes. Thank you for supporting us.

Sincerely,
Sahitra Bhat Ullal
