Felix Lange, 23, a management and French student, has been in a relationship
for a year and a half. Here, he reflects on the outfit he chose for his first date.
“If I could describe my outfit in one word, I’d say chic.”
“This cafe was recommended by my sister. I found it online, and thought it looked like a nice place to go. I really liked it then, and I still do, for the same reason as before: the cardamom bun. I felt both nervous and excited for my first date. I knew I didn’t want to just wear anything.
I wanted to put some real effort into how I looked. I chose a leather jacket, jeans and these boots. I didn’t want to seem overly formal, but I did also want to look like I could dress myself. I decided this would be a good way to show that.
I think my leather jacket was my standout item because it’s like the first thing you see, but it also only works because of the jeans. They work very well together.
