I’m Hanna, I live in north London but am originally from Sweden where I grew up in a small town called Karlstad. I study media and communications and work as a Swedish teacher part-time. When I’m not doing that I love strolling around London, getting a coffee or two and seeing my friends. I also love travelling, writing and reading. What I love about London is that it feels like multiple cities in one. There is always something to do!

I’m Hortense, I love cinema, fashion, travelling, skiing (only good sport), and of course, interviewing people for journalism. As a true French, I love complaining about the food here and how much better Paris is. My favourite place on Earth is the French Alps, like many of my British mates. You can find me taking pictures with my Kodak, at the pub or ordering an overpriced matcha latte. I also love talking about myself, so this is also part of my hobbies. London isn’t the most student-friendly city, but would still recommend it, it’s a path one needs to take. My favourite thing about London is taking an Uber home at 4 am and seeing the Big Ben and London Eye empty. It’s a myth, that London is so peaceful and quiet.

I’m Danielle Becker, I am 21 years old, studying Media Communications. I am half-American and half South Korean. But I was born in London and lived there for the majority of my life. I love how London has many cool attractions like art galleries, bars, theatres and more. I love to travel, write poetry and dance. I want to be a travel journalist, just travelling the world and documenting the places I have been. I am also a massive foodie and I love trying different cuisines from all over the world.

I’m Opeyemi, but you can just call me Yemi. I am the Production Editor for our website. I’m a 20-year-old student at Goldsmiths University currently studying Media and communications. I was born in Ireland but moved to the UK ten years ago. I love musicals and have seen Wicked about four times and many other productions. Because of that, I guess you could say my favourite place in London is Westminister. But specifically the Apollo Victora Theatre. I want to be a public relations consultant in the future but still enjoy the Journalism specialisation I am currently doing.

I’m Maisy, a student at Goldsmith’s University where I study Media and Communications – specialising in Journalism. I live in London and am working towards a career in magazine journalism. I enjoy writing about football, culture, feminism, social issues, and politics, etc. One thing I love about London is how multifaceted it is; there’s always something going on. My favourite places in London are Peckham Rye (in the sun!) and Highbury.

I’m Judith, I moved to South Africa when I was around 3 and grew up in the beautiful area of Cape Town surrounded by nature. I grew up hiking, surfing, going to the beach and wine farms. I have a huge love for the finer things in life and having a great time, whether that be travel, food or top-quality conversations. I would describe myself as a sociable being, who always tries to see the better side of life. My usual stomping ground in London would consist of my local area Fulham and taking a quick tube ride down to Chelsea and the occasional (maybe not so occasional) Mayfair night out. I love going out and creating amazing memories with my friends and I think London offers the perfect playing ground to do so.

I’m Junxuan Li , and I’m from China. I am currently studying at Goldsmiths for media and communication. My favourite place to go would be Greenwich park, and I love the diverse food culture in London. I chose media and communications because I want to build something in this area in my home country and my main role in the magazine is the social media editor.

I’m Zeling, (she/her) and I’m studying at Goldsmiths, University of London as a major in Media and Communications. This is my second year at the university and my main role in this magazine is as social media editor.

I’m Huang Xiaoshan, I am from China. I love travelling, meeting new people, and exploring unknown things, and I even love writing down these experiences. What attracts me most about London is not only the London Eye and Big Ben but also the intertwining of different cultures and the people from different countries walking through the streets. It’s an entire new world all on the streets of London.

I’m Emma, a 20-year-old London-born creative, I love acting writing and music, my favourite things to do in London include attending my friend’s shows, going to exhibitions and occasionally going for food and drinks In central London.

I’m Lola. I’m 21. I’ve lived all around London, first training in Film and Media production at the BRIT school and now studying at Goldsmiths University – specialising in Journalism. I have an affinity for culture in all aspects – fine art. film, music, you name it and believe we have a duty to preserve it.
