If there’s any club name that represents the feeling of experience, Halfway to Heaven will take the trophy. Paradoxically, due to the large crowds, it can sometimes feel like you’re in hell, though. But we love it! The drag acts that perform in this building are juicy and spicy whether through pole dancing or lap dancing. Every drink consumed is heavenly, whether that be the presentation or taste. The diversity in music also means there is something for everyone to enjoy – give that DJ a raise! What’s also quite noteworthy is that for a club in a commercial side of London, it’s impressive that it hosts what we deem ‘locals.’ But perhaps, sometimes all you need are the same old faces to make you feel comfortable. People are so welcoming that you’ll feel like you’ve known them for years. It’s a safe space for the drag community to come together and appreciate the culture. The most commonly occurring night is karaoke night, which happens once a week on Saturday evenings. Some hosts give away free prizes to winners. Drag King Adam All is a regular here, and trust us when we say that his charisma and cheek are one of many reasons to check this place out.
