The inspiration for Circa Mag comes from my obsession with all things from my childhood. I live and breathe through memories – for better or worse, I am the most sentimental person. I think many of you, along with the rest of the Circa team, share this nostalgic feeling. After all, Dazed dubbed 2023 the “year culture reached peak nostalgia,” and that longing for the past is only growing. With the state of the world right now, it feels more important than ever to celebrate human existence, to find comfort, escape, and optimism in the things that once made us feel something.
